Crivitz Womans Club 2013 Fundraising Auction
The Crivitz Area Woman's Club's (CAWC) annual holiday auction will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14 at St. Mary Church Hall, Crivitz. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the auction begins at 6 p.m. All ladies are welcome, whether members or not.
In addition to auction items, there will be bucket raffles and share the wealth raffles. All items are donated by local businesses, CAWC, and community members. All of the funds raised through the auction and raffles are donated back to the community.
The Crivitz Area Womans Club donates to many charitable organizations including the Crivitz Area and the Amberg-Wausaukee food pantries, Crivitz and Wausaukee libraries, Crivitz and Town of Stephenson Rescue Squads, Crivitz Historical Society, and more. Also for the Clubs sponsored events like American Red Cross Blood Drives and the CAWC Back to School Program where school supplies are given to low-income Crivitz and Wausaukee school children. There is also a boutique table loaded with smaller new and gently used items for sale at nominal prices. All proceeds from the boutique table help fund the CAWC operations.
If interested in making a donation by way of a single item, gift basket, or cash, drop off donation at St. Mary Church Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, from 8 a.m. to noon, or contact Dolly Thomas at 715-927-4840 to pick up.
There is no reservation needed and no entrance fee. Appetizers and desserts will be served, also free of charge. The public is welcome.
