Joseph D. Corter
Joseph Daniel Corter, 32, passed away early evening on Oct. 7.
Born in Tishomingo, Okla. Dec. 21, 1980, he was the third of four boys born to his mother, Tresea Ann Bias. She preceded him in death on Nov. 15, 2011. He attended grade school and middle school in Peshtigo, moving away in 1995. He traveled the country living in Kansas, Wyoming, California, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina and Oklahoma, the state he was born in and went back to before his passing. He lived enough to fit into three lives.
He is survived by two children, little Joey Corter and his second son, Charlie Corter; three brothers, Michael Shane Bias, Jason Bias and Christopher Lund.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, April Corter; his second wife, Amanda Corter; his father, Carey Corter; and his mother, Tresea Ann Bias.
A memorial and remembrance service was held at 3 p.m. on Nov. 2 at the Open Range Cowboy Church in the Round-Up club building at 612 S 2nd Ave., Madill, Okla.
