Betty J. Jessel, 88, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12 at her home.
Born March 19, 1925 in Marinette, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Larson, she married Melvin Raymond Jessel who preceded her in death. She was employed in the meat department at Angelis for 22 years.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne (Mary) Jessel and Gary Jessel, both of Marinette; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a brother, Joseph (Alice) Larson, of Florida.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tanna Jessel; a brother, Norman Larson and four sisters, Pearl Koronkiewicz, Marcella Kessler, Muriel Goldsmith and Millie Felker.
Friends called at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home in Marinette after 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, followed by a Memorial Service at 5 p.m. with Rev. Jon Nelson officiating.
