Larry L. Lantow, 74, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 14.
Born July 26, 1939 in Marinette to Harry and Dorothy (Lehmann) Lantow, he resided in the area all his life. He graduated from Marinette High School and married the former Judith E. Baldwin Oct. 3, 1959.
He managed gas stations for Super America and operated Lantows Last Resort on Lake Noquebay for 31 years, along with a greenhouse business. He also managed rental property and enjoyed remodeling and improving homes. A longtime member of the Community Covenant Church, he was dedicated to his faith and was always there to help.
He is survived by his wife, Judith; four children, Danny Lantow, Vicki (David) Freud, Larry (Susie) Lantow, Jr. and Matthew (Tabitha) Lantow; six grandchildren; a brother, Kent (Monica) Lantow and a sister, Gloria (Ken) Hoecherl. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends called at Community Covenant Church, Menominee after 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 18 with funeral services at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Tom Lach officiated with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Marinette. Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
