Harold L. Voelker Sr.
Harold L. Voelker Sr., 87, passed away at his son's house in Stephenson, Mi. on Monday, Nov.18.
Born in Grand Haven, Mi., Nov. 24, 1925, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Mimic) Voelker. He married Bernita Mae Ledger until her death. He then married Adeline Steipen, who also preceded him in death. He was employed at the Kohler Company for 18 years and was also a 10 year employee of Dunbar.
He enjoyed spending time at Green Acres Golf Course in Beecher, fishing for brook trout and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by two sons, Harold (Sue) Voelker Jr., and Randy (Georgian) Voelker, both of Stephenson; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a brother, Herbert.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol and brothers, Bernard, George, Glen and Wayne.
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 at St. Margaret Catholic Church-Pembine. Father Matt Settle will officiate with Interment in Memorial Garden Cemetery, Dunbar. Messar-Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
