Rainbow House is Topic of Pound Club
The Pound Woman's Club held their Nov. 12 meeting at the Pound Parkview Apartments social room with JoAnn Rogodzinski as hostess. A donation was given to the Pound Christian Life Center Food Pantry. Nancy Morstad was a guest.
The Christmas Banquet will be Dec. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Cheers in Coleman. Guests are welcome and members are asked to bring non-perishable items for the local food pantry. The club will decorate a planter in Pound for the Christmas season.
The program consisted of Jessica Honish, legal advocate for the Rainbow House, speaking about the domestic abuse problem and the needs of the victims. The Rainbow House in Marinette has been helping victims of domestic violence for 33 years. Club members brought donations of personal need supplies for the Rainbow House.
