Crivitz Man Dies In Crash
Allan R. Chapman, 35, N6701 Osmanski Lane, Crivitz, died in a one vehicle crash shortly before 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, when his vehicle crashed into a tree on County Road W near Kertesz Lane in the Town of Stephenson. The crash happened about one mile from his residence.
Marinette County Chief Deputy James Hansen reported Dispatch received the call at 6:56 a.m. Chapman was alone in the vehicle which was eastbound on County Road W when it crossed the center line, entered the westbound ditch and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Marinette County Coroner George Smith.
Responding to the scene were sheriff department deputies, Stephenson Fire Department and Crivitz Rescue Squad.
Investigation continues into the crash by the sheriff department and coroner.
