Joyce E. Keller, 90, of Peshtigo passed away on Friday, Dec. 6 at Rennes Health Center-West.
Born Sept. 19, 1923 in Menominee, Mi., the daughter of the late Herbert & Edith (Jessel) Russell, she married Bernhard A. Keller in Menominee in 1948. They were married for 49 years until he passed away in 2007. A member of Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo, she was active with the Ladies Aide Society, enjoyed playing cards and bingo, baking, shopping, dancing and was a Packers Fan. She also enjoyed spending time with her sister and her daughter.
She is survived by, a daughter Diane Keller, of Milwaukee; a sister, Natalie (Joe) LaPlant, of Menominee; a brother-in-law, Martin Keller, of Peshtigo; a sister-in-law, Lois Russell, of Menominee and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernhard and a brother, Glen Buddy Russell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo from 3 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 5 p.m. Pastor Luke Myslic officiated with entombment at Glenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
