THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Wayne Kubie Kubiscik, 63, Abrams, passed away Monday, Dec. 9 at home.
Born Aug. 14, 1950 in Chicago to Chester and Stella (Kotowski) Kubiscik, he moved with his family to the Abrams area in 1965. On Dec. 29, 1988 he married Lee Flanagan in Green Bay. He was employed at Campbell Wrapper Corp. (FMC Corp) for over 35 years.
He will be remembered for his love of hunting, nature and the outdoors. He enjoyed playing video games with his family and friends, along with taking on any projects given to him. He also loved science as he was always conducting his own experiments and was his own Mad Scientist.
He is survived by his wife, Lee Kubiscik, Abrams; two daughters, Jacalyn (Oveal) Foreman, Milwaukee and Chanda (Jason) Betts, Oconto Falls; four grandchildren; two sisters, Karen Kubiscik, Abrams and Michelle Kubiscik, Oconto Falls; a brother, Brian (Tina) Kubiscik, Oconto; a nephew; two nieces; a great nephew and three special buddies, Mike Potthier, Dan Shorty Schadrie and Bob Mater.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Kubiscik on June 3, 1992 and Stella Kubiscik on Jan. 6, 2008.
Private family services were held at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls followed by cremation.
