Vivian I. Orland, 92, of Menominee, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18 at Roubal Care and Rehab Center in Stephenson, Mi.
Born on Dec. 9, 1921 to the late Alexander and Laura (Durant) McCallum, she married John J. Orland on May 23, 1942 in Menominee. They built a home on the bay in Menominee where they raised their two children.
She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed swimming, gardening, camping and spending time with her grandchildren. For a short time, she worked at Town & County Veterinary Clinic.
She is survived by her husband, John; a son, John R. (Karen) Orland, of Menominee; a daughter, Pam (John) Michaelis, of Redlands, Ca.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie McCallum, Roy McCallum and Clinton McCallum; and a sister, Honey (Jerry) Anderson.
A private family service was held on Saturday, Dec. 21 at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette with Rev. Dale Brown officiating.
