Mary E. Bohan, 93, of Menominee passed away on Saturday, Dec. 28 at Menominee Care Center.
Born on Feb. 7, 1920 to the late Edward and Margaret (Adsilens) Photenhauer in Menominee, she married George Bohan Sept. 10, 1939. He preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1984. A member of Holy Spirit Church, she enjoyed dancing, going to the casino and visiting her family every Sunday.
She is survived by four sons, Richard (Bonnie), of Madison, William, of Columbia, S.C., Jerry (Carol), of Marinette and David (Mary Jane), of Green Bay; two daughters, Nancy (Jeff) Behrendt, of Marinette and Pat (Gerald) Valley, of Peshtigo; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, George, she was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
Friends called at Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee on Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 1 p.m. until time of funeral services at 3 p.m. Deacon Steve Gretzinger officiated with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee.
