THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
From our readers
Its the New Year! To many of us that brings hope, hope of a change in 2014. Our desire might be to lose weight, maybe give up some bad habit in our lives or to restore relationships or marriages. We might even start the New Year strong. It appears our change is going to work, however, after time it fades, like in years past.
For the majority of us our New Years resolution of change fades. The weight doesnt come off, the habits stay and the relationships remain strained. Why do the majority of resolutions fail? Why does the change not happen? Might it be that we are hinging our hope of change on ourselves, the ones who have failed in the past? In hinging our hopes on ourselves we only have a dead hope, one that more than likely will fail.
However, there is hope in this New Year for a change that we can believe in. This is the lively hope that comes through Jesus Christ and His Resurrection. When you hinge your hope of change in Jesus Christ, you can be assured that old things are passed away and that now all things are become new. If you want a New Year that brings a change, then pin your hopes upon Jesus Christ and growing closer to him, then you will have a change you can believe in.
