THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Gloria J. Bachmann
Gloria J. Bachmann, 74, of Green Bay passed away Sunday, Jan. 5 after an illness.
Born in Manitowoc Oct. 18, 1939 to Lawrence and Florence (Piehl) Granger, she married Darul Bachmann on Nov. 14, 1959, who called her his Little Flower. She retired from Essco Inc. in 2005 after over 35 years of service as an office manager.
Known not only for her good cooking, she said her legacy would be her collection of cook books. She volunteered for Manna for Life Food Pantry and the Thrift Store and enjoyed playing solitaire on the computer. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Darul, Green Bay; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Jody Darby, Rockdale, Tx. and Jennifer and Brian Tilkens, Amberg; a son, Jerome Bachmann, Green Bay; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Alonda (Roy) Potts; a brother-in-law, Dennis Bachmann and nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Bachmann and a brother, Robert Granger.
