Robert R. Rouse
Robert R. Rouse, 80, of Niagara, passed away Monday, Dec. 23 at Maryhill Manor in Niagara.
Born May 15, 1933 in Niagara, the son of the late Raymond and Anna (Thiry) Rouse, he married the former Debra Mitchell on Nov. 17, 1989 in Iron Mountain. She preceded him in death on Nov. 10, 2007. He worked at Lodal and at Doug's Hilltop and enjoyed bowling.
He is survived by three children Robert Rouse, Jr., of Felch, Kevin (Minnie) Rouse, Sr. and Chantil Rouse, both of Niagara; five brothers and sisters, Pat (Guy) Kallenbach and Bernard (Sharon) Rouse, both of Niagara, Marge Hilsabeck, of Marinette, Raymond Rouse, of Iron Mountain and Marilyn (the late Jerry) Smithpeters, of Highpoint, N.C.; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Donald Rouse and a sister, Gertrude "Trudy" Izzo.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 10 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Niagara Cemetery.
