Russell G. Henrichs
Russell (Russy) G. Henrichs, 77, of Wausaukee passed away on Friday, Jan. 3 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
Born July 1, 1936 in Lena, to Alfred and Agitha (Wyent) Henrichs, he attended Lena High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1956 thru 1959 and on Feb. 1, 1958 married Linda Meekma at St. Charles Catholic Church in Lena. After his discharge from service, he worked for St. Marys and St. Norbert College in Green Bay in janitorial services.
He enjoyed the outdoors, trout fishing, deer hunting and grouse hunting and spending time with friends and family. He will be missed by friends of Wausaukee, the Chippewa Bar, Big O 's, and The Bowl.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda; a daughter, Vickie Henrichs, of Green Bay; two sisters, Darlene Rierdon, Louisville, Ky. and Diane (Marvin) Lotter, Athelstane; a brother, Tom (Mary) Henrichs, Talbott, Tn.; two brothers-in-law, Dick (Julie) Leonhardt and Stanley Leonhardt; six sisters-in-law, Mary Henrichs, Lois Henrichs, Jean Henrichs, Kathy Flynn, Dixie Jennings and Diane Craft; special nephew, Steve (Judy) Henrichs and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Henrichs in 1996; his parents; three brothers, Alfred (Jr.) Henrichs, Loyal Henrichs and Dale Henrichs and a brother-in-law, Rollyn Rierdon.
A Memorial Service Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the American Legion Hall in Wausaukee from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Military rites will be performed by Wausaukee American Legion. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
