Race Develops For 2 Seats On School Board
Three candidates have filed for the two seats up for election April 1 on the Board of Education for the Coleman School District. The deadline for filing had been extended to 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, from Tuesday, Jan. 7, because school and administrative offices were closed for three days due to cold weather conditions that hit the area.
The three candidates for the two seats are incumbents Roger C. Heisel and Joanne M. Nowak who are being challenged by Barbara Krause-Klug, a former member of the school administration staff.
The two top vote getters on April 1 will be elected to serve three year terms.
