Coleman Crushes Crivitz 69-6; Bulldogs In Rout

Both teams came into the M-O Conference clash undefeated, but when the final points were totaled, Coleman chalked up another lopsided victory routing Crivitz 69-6. The Cougars (2-0) combined five pins with 4 forfeits to hand Crivitz its first league loss.
The kids came out and wrestled well against a good team. They were a couple of good matches and the Stodola boys just keep on getting better. Alex beat Chapman, who is one of the better Crivitz wrestlers, Coleman coach Kevin Casper said.
Coach Kevin Casper saw his grapplers run off 9 straight wins to open the match and never looked back. Kevin Lansin got things rolling with a 1:12 pin of William Faulkner at 145 pound while Trevor Seewald followed suit with a 0:39 effort over Hunter Myszka at 152.
Dexter Karban earned a forfeit then watched the Stodola brothers chalk up easy wins. Alex took care of Nicholas Chapman in a major decision 12-2 at 170 while Hunter bested Dan Tomaszewski 10-1 in the 182 bout.
Colemans winning ways continued as Nowak Abraham nipped Matt Tomaszewski 4-3 at 195, Donovan Salewski claimed a forfeit at 220 and CJ Pillath moved up to heavyweight and dominated Austin Ducaine 14-4.
Heading back to the lighter weights, Derick Teteak pinned Jordan St. Germain in 0:50 while Jordan Blanchard bested Hunter Tate in 1:04 at 113 pounds.
Down 51-0, Crivitz earned its lone win when 120 pounder Tim Sotka pinned Brandon Champagne in 2:38.
The final three bouts went to Coleman as Jensyn Schaal (132) and Marc Lansin (138) picked up forfeits while Jackson Margis pinned Luke LaCroix in 2:35 at 138 pounds.
Forfeits Key As Peshtigo
Levels Lena-STAA 66-18
Taking advantage of 10 forfeits, the Peshtigo Bulldogs moved to 2-0 in conference wrestling with a 66-18 road win over Lena-STAA. Only 4 bouts were actually wrestled with Lena-STAA claiming three of them.
Wins for Lena-STAA saw 113 pounder Haley Cruz pin Dylan Williquette 0:38, Blaik Fischer topped Cameron Lepkowski at 182 pounds in 2:16 and Dylan Garrigan collected a 19 second pin over Paul Lemke at 195.
Peshtigos lone victory on the mat came in the heavyweight affair where Andy Johnston needed just 38 seconds to pin Matt Crozier.
Forfeits for Peshtigo went to Brian Kroth (106),Nadine VanSleet 120, Bryan Shevy 126, Hunter Madden 132, DJ Messenger 138, Austin Maye 145, Steven Strojny 152, Shane Marquardt 160, Tyler Brissette 170 and Michael Gable 220.
