City Council Agenda Includes Farm Market
Proposal for a Farm Market, retirement letter, committee reports and a closed to the public session to follow will be among items of business when the Peshtigo City Council meets Tuesday, Feb. 4, starting at 7 p.m.
A letter was received from the Peshtigo Chamber of Commerce to explore the idea of having a Farm Market on Saturday, July 12. the day after the citywide rummage sale which is set for July 11.
The Farm Market was suggested to be held across from the Municipal Building in the triangle parking area between French St. and Oconto Ave.
The Council will also act on a retirement letter from Pat Harper who has been employed by the Public Works Department.
The closed to the public session of the Council includes an update on activities of an outside labor attorney hired by the City to check into alleged personnel problems.
Other agenda items include committee reports, building permits and advertising to fill the positions in the city.
