Randy L. Fisher
Randy L. Fisher, 53, Suring, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Green Bay on Dec. 9, 1960 to Loren and Barbara (Gretzon) Fisher, he married Laura Heins at St. John Lutheran Church in Hayes on Nov. 12, 1993. He worked for Oconto County Highway Department and loved plowing snow.
He enjoyed mowing lawn, gardening and being outside. A volunteer youth Basketball Coach for 25 years, he was active in the boys and girls Suring High School basketball teams. He loved his family and enjoyed supporting them in sporting events. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Laura, of Suring; two daughters, Danielle and Erin; his mother, Barbara Fisher, of Oconto Falls; a brother, Rick (Mary), of Green Bay; two sisters, Coco (Jay) Kramer, of Suamico and Carrie (Mark) Strehlow, of Suring; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Gretzon and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loren Fisher in 2002.
Visitation will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Hayes on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. until time of a funeral service at noon with Pastor Nick Buchholz officiating. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A memorial fund has been established.
