Ronald H. Krause, 72, Pound passed away Feb. 16 after a lengthy illness.
Born Feb. 13, 1942 to Sylvester and Bernice (Brooks) Krause in Pound, he married Sharon Schabow there at First Baptist Church on Oct. 12, 1968. He served in the United States National Guard, operated Krause Mink Farm with his dad and then was a Pet Food Processor until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and most of all his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; three children, Brenda (Paul) Kochensparger, Washington, Mi., Robert (Julie) Krause, Pound and Richard (future daughter-in-law, Ashley Hull) Krause, Rhinelander; five grandchildren; two brothers, Gene (Mary) Krause, Green Bay and Gerald (Pam) Krause, White Lake; three sisters, Judy (John) Leslie and Joanne (Randy) Dodd, both of Pound and Gloria (Claude) Keshemberg, Cedarburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harry and Nancy Logan, Milwaukee.
Relatives and friends may call at Pioneer Baptist Church, Pound on Thursday, Feb. 20 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. with Pastor David Navis officiating. Burial will be in First Baptist Cemetery, Pound. Memorial contributions are appreciated to Faith Christian School, 233 W. Main St., Coleman, WI 54112.
