Child Development Day March 13
Screening for Child Development Day in the Wausaukee School District for three and four year-olds will take place on Thursday, March 13, in the elementary gym, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Each child's coordination, socialization, self-help, speech-language and thinking skills will be assessed in a comfortable, play-centered environment. Hearing and vision screenings are also provided. The screening allows parents to find out how their child is growing and developing, and find answers for any parenting questions/concerns. Children must be 3 or 4 by Sept. 1, 2014, in order to attend the screening. All children need to be screened before attending the 4 year-old kindergarten program. To schedule a screening contact Nancy Held in the Elementary Office at 715-856-5152, ext. 265. New families to the area should call.
