Lawrence D. Wilsey
Lawrence Larry D. Wilsey, 52, of Marinette passed away Friday, Feb. 21 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born to the late Ralph and Victoria (Heklowski) Wilsey in Chicago, he moved to the area in 1989 and on Feb. 14, 1991 he married Cindy Sirovatka in Bridgeview, Ill.
He enjoyed watching wrestling and riding bikes with his daughter. His children were everything to him and his son Tim, was his right hand man. He loved working on cars and spending time at the Barn working on classic cars with his daughter. He was a fun loving guy that was always there for anyone and his family called him the mobile mechanic.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Cindy; two sons, Niles Pendleton-Wilsey, of Joliet, Ill. and Timothy Wilsey, of Marinette; a daughter, Kathryn Wilsey, of Marinette; four sisters, Patty Wilsey and his twin sister, Nancy Wilsey, both of Marinette, Kathy (Robbie) Brintz, of Wallace and Debbie (Scott) Waloway, of Menominee and family friend, Vincent Sudard, of Daggett;
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two step-brothers, Mike and Anthony.
Friends may call at Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee on Wednesday, Feb. 26 from 3 p.m. until a time of shared memories at 5 p.m. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
