George E. Lemieux
George E. Lemieux, 84, of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26.
A native of Menominee, he graduated from University of Michigan and retired in 1994 from Ford Motor Co. after a successful engineering career.
He enjoyed gardening, boating and was a Radio Control Airplane enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; children, Catherine, George C., Jane (Timothy) Horan, Guy (Diana) and Ann; step-children, John (Becky) Canzano, Nick (Adrianna) Canzano, Rob (Linda) Canzano and Rick Canzano; two sisters, Mary (George) Wendt and Eleanor LaValley; 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte.
A gathering was held Friday, Feb. 28 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Vermeulen Funeral Home in Plymouth, Mi., with a Memorial Service Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Arbor Hospice.
