Wausaukee Travel Plans Icelandic Trip
The Wausaukee Travel Club will go on a fall Icelandic Adventure from Sept. 13-19th. The group leaves Green Bay by private motor coach, then will travel to Minneapolis, Mn. and fly nonstop transatlantic flight to Reykjavik, Iceland.
Day trips from Reykjavik include a city tour and visit to neighboring communities, the 190 mile circular route known as the Golden Circle, exploration of the South Shore taking in the ring Road east of Reykjavik, visit fertile green farmlands of the south plain to the village of Skogar, the Skogafoss Waterfall, and the sea village of Vik. Also included is visit to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula to view the Snaefellsjokull Glacier and the fishing village of Olafsvik. There will also be a free day to explore Reykjavik.
The cost is $2,590 per person, double occupancy. Early booking by June 12th saves $100 per person. The trip includes roundtrip private motor coach transportation from Green Bay to Minneapolis -St. Paul International Airport; economy-class air transportation by scheduled service of Icelandair; transportation by deluxe private motor coach with accompanying Reykajavik Tour Guide; first-class hotel accommodations in Reykjavik. Also all meals by Day by Day itinerary, sightseeing in Itinerary including applicable entrance fees. Taxes for included ground services and all airline fuel surcharges and taxes totaling $360 per person.
