Robert V. Frost
Robert V. Frost, 87, of Oconto, passed away Wednesday, March 5 at Oconto Bellin Health Hospital.
Born Sept. 1, 1926 in Toledo, Oh., he married Alice Mason in 1946 and she preceded him in death on Oct. 2, 1994. He then married Mary Fonder on Sept. 28, 1996. He served in the United States Army.
After retiring, they moved to Florida where he enjoyed playing golf with his buddies at Sandlewood Country Club and in 2002 the couple relocated to Oconto. He enjoyed watching baseball and football, with his favorite team being the Detroit Lions until his wife converted him to a Green Bay Packer fan. He was a member of the Oconto American Legion Post #74.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Frost, Oconto; two daughters, Sandra Hall, Ohio; Beverly (Troy) Fonder, Florida; two step-daughters, Kathryn (Gordon) Olson and Susan (Gary) Eparvier, both of Oconto; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Barbara Frost and a son-in-law, Rev. Linphord Chip Hall.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto assisted the family with arrangements.
