Patricia M. Garneski
Patricia M. Garneski 82, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, March 8 at Menominee Care Center.
Born Dec. 31, 1931, to the late Wilbert and Lola (Delware) Veek in Marinette, she graduated from Marinette High School in 1949. On May 20, 1950, she married John W. Garneski in Marinette and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2012. She was employed at Christensen Machinery for 20 years, retiring in 1981.
She loved traveling all over the United States, the Scandinavian countries and Hawaii three times. She enjoyed shopping, bowling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra (Joseph) Jasenovsky, of Menominee and Cynthia Rose, of Porterfield; a sister, Ruth Lieburn, of Marinette; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by a son-in- law, Jim Rose and a sister, Avyce Guimond.
As per her wishes, private family services will be held with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee. Thielen Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
