Edwin G. Haban, 88, of Wallace passed away Monday, March 17 at Rennes Health Center-West.
Born Oct. 6, 1925, to the late Frank and Madeline Haban, he married Helen Verno on Aug. 4, 1962. She preceded him in death on May 11, 2007. He was employed at Lloyd Mfg. until his retirement in 1982 and enjoyed restoring tractors, working on small engines, working in the woods and being outdoors. He appreciated his friendships, especially his neighbors, Mike and Denice Marineau.
He is survived by two daughters, Julie (Kent) Smith, of Marinette and Wendy (Dennis) Ward, of Livonia, Mi.; a son, Larry Haban, of Wallace; three grandchildren; two brothers, James and twin brother, Edward (Elaine); a sister, Alice Shepp and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen; a brother, Arthur and sister, Rosie.
Per his request, no formal services will be held. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
