I am proud to say Cathi is my niece and I support her for Mayor for the City of Peshtigo. Cathi has always held that the taxpayer funds entrusted to the city should be efficiently managed and Peshtigo residents continue to be provided with top-notch services from the police department, public works department, parks & recreation and office personnel.
Cathi Malke always acts with integrity and no hidden agendas. She is caring, thoughtful, committed and dedicated, qualities she had displayed for the past six years as Alderperson for the City of Peshtigo.
Cathi has worked hard to secure several grants to make improvements to the city. I know she was frustrated several times when projects took longer than expected, or just didnt go the way things were planned.
I know Cathi will continue to work hard and represent the city with integrity and honesty. Vote April 1 for Cathi Malke for Mayor for the City of Peshtigo.

I am writing this letter supporting Cathi Malke for Mayor for the City of Peshtigo. Twenty years ago, Cathi Malke was one of the first citizens of Peshtigo to volunteer her time to train to become a member of the Emergency Rescue Squad (ERS) when the ERS decided to expand into Peshtigo. Today, Cathi is a National Certified Wisconsin and Michigan (EMT) Emergency Medical Technician.
She is one of the original Peshtigo members of the ERS that was formed 20 years ago. Through her career with the ERS, Cathi has held several leadership positions on the operating committee. Over the years Cathi has looked for, researched and written several grants. The ERS and communities have benefited greatly because of her hard work and dedication.
Members of the ERS purchase their own clothing to wear for squad duty. The outerwear did not always meet safety standards, all members wouldnt dress alike and it would be a financial burden to members. Cathi then took it upon herself to establish the Coats for Caregivers drive. With a supportive committee, community involvement and donations, a fund was established till enough funds were raised to purchase every member a winter coat, spring coat, hat and gloves.
Cathi and I are on the same crew, worked on a lot of committees together and we have been through a lot together. She cares about the community she lives in, as she has dedicated 20 years to the ERS for the City of Peshtigo. Please vote April 1, Cathi Malke, Mayor for the City of Peshtigo.
Peshtigo Times Editor:
Mark Konrad is an excellent candidate for the Mayor of Peshtigo. He has over 20 years of experience running a large company as its Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. I have worked with Mark for over 15 years as members of the local Rotary Club raising money for local, national and international projects. He has been our Rotary Youth Exchange Officer for high school students studying abroad, our treasurer for the past 12 years, and will be our president as of July 1 this year.
He has brought his planning and budgeting skills to our Club, allowing us to raise tens of thousands of dollars for good causes. He organizes and runs our now biggest fundraiser. In the last three years the fundraiser has given $6,000 to our local emergency rescue squad. Mark brought the Rotary Club and the Roto-Spud to Peshtigo Historical Days. The funds raised at this event and others provide scholarships, youth leadership camp, and international study opportunities to PHS students and other local high school students. Mark recently attended a grant writing seminar in order to learn the skills necessary to increase the funds that Rotary raises and donates back to the community.
Marks ability to energize people and to accomplish goals is evident in the success of our Rotary service projects and fundraisers. I have seen his commitment to Rotary and I know that he will dedicate himself equally to the Office of Mayor of Peshtigo. Vote Mark Konrad for Mayor, City of Peshtigo, on April 1.
To the Editor:
I have known Cathi Malke since high school. Cathi has a great personality, is a caring individual and is a hard, dedicated worker. She has been involved in the community for many years. Cathi is on the First Responders, she brought the Every Fifteen Minutes Program to Peshtigo High School, and has been Alderman for the past six years. She has supported all City of Peshtigo services and workers. Over the past six years, Cathi has been involved in writing grants that have helped improve our city. I believe that Cathi wold take her enthusiasm, knowledge and pride in our community to keep everything moving in the right direction if she is elected Mayor.

City of Peshtigo Residents
