Peter H. Loser
Peter H. Loser, 86, of Marinette, passed away Monday, March 24 at NEWCARE in Crivitz.
Born Feb. 1, 1928, to the late Frank Sr. and Margaret (Molnar) Loser in Chicago, Ill., he graduated from Lane Tech there. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II and after service moved to Marinette to be by his family. He married Linda Phillips on Oct. 22, 1977 in Grover.
He worked for WA Rusch Inc. in Stiles Junction as a Diesel Mechanic and then John Veriha Trucking for over 10 years. A member of the Peshtigo American Legion, he enjoyed being outdoors and working with his hands.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; three sons, Mark Loser, of Grover, Mike Loser, of DePere and Luke (Vashti) Lozier, of Shorewood; two daughters, Eugenie Loser, of Peshtigo and Julie Corneil, of Brooklyn Park; three stepsons, Steven (Jolene) Kamin, of Plymouth, Dale Kamin, of Marinette and Tony (Marina) Kamin, of DePere; a stepdaughter, Julie (Craig) Richards, of Marinette; two sisters, Maryann (Gerhardt) Heil, of Belleville and Ilona Loser, of Cross Plains and 15 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Jr. and a stepson, Larry Kamin.
Friends may call at Thielen Funeral Home on Thursday, March 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., concluding with a time of shared memories and stories. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
