Dorothy M. Wood
Dorothy M. Wood, 84, of Crivitz, Town of Stephenson, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 29 at home.
Born Oct. 2, 1929, in rural Houghton, Mi., daughter of John and Helen (Hurley) Johnson, she married John Wood on Aug. 28, 1954. A long-time member of Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Crivitz, she also belonged to the PEO Sisterhood, Marinette Chapter and enjoyed hours of painting.
She is survived by her husband, John; two children, Jeffrey (Gina) Wood and Allison Wood; five grandchildren and a sister, Mary Haataja.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Matthews.
Family and friends may call at Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Crivitz from 10 a.m. until the time of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 4, with Rev. Rick Marcy officiating. Messar Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
