Pound Womans Club Announce Coming Events
The Pound Woman's Club held their Tuesday, April 8 meeting at the Pound Parkview Apartments social room with JoAnn Rogodzinski as hostess and Donna Salewski as co-hostess. Members were reminded about the Centennial Celebration of Pound in June.
The annual yard sale for Coleman High School scholarships will be held Thursday, June 5 and Friday, June 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Al Salewski produce stand in Beaver. Anyone with items to donate to the club for the yard sale can call Donna at 920-591-0568. Electronics and appliances will not be accepted.
The Spring Banquet is Wednesday, May 14. Members will first meet at 4:30 p.m. at the Woller Manufacturing Co. in Pound and then have a 6 p.m. dinner at Cheers in Coleman. Guests are welcome.
Mary Rosner from the Marinette County Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Marinette County spoke on home health care. The ADRC provides information, assistance, and advocacy to older adults, persons with disabilities, and their families to promote healthy choices, independence, and an enhanced quality of life. Their focus is on prevention of diseases for people over the age of 60.
