Janet Marie Mauel, 52, passed away Thursday April 24.
Born Nov. 30, 1961, to Ferd and Elaine Mauel, she grew up in Clintonville and graduated from Clintonville High School.
She attended beauty school in Appleton and worked as a hair stylist with her tag line being, Remember- we are Beauticians, not Magicians! She moved to Oconto in 1982 and made it her home.
She is survived by three children, Krysti Norton, Shane Norton and Faith VerBruggen; a grandson; a brother, Joe (Jan) Mauel, Green Bay; two nieces and an uncle, Dan (Shirley) Yaeger, Weyauwega.
A celebration of her life was held at Irish Greens, Oconto on Saturday, April 26 at 3 p.m. Family and friends were invited to share stories and laughs with her children. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto assisted the family.
