Irene E. Kuber
Irene E. Kuber, 93, of Marinette, formerly of Menominee, Mi., died Wednesday, April 30 at the Luther Home.
Born in Porterfield, to William and Margaret (Wilkens) Mueller on Sept. 28, 1920, she married Robert F. Kuber and he preceded her in death in 1986. She worked at the Luther Home as a nurses assistant, retiring in 1987.
As a mother and homemaker, she enjoyed the simple things in life and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Menominee. She enjoyed boating, walking, car rides and traveling with her family and close friend.
Survivors include a son, John (Ellen) Kuber, of Germantown; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Mueller, of Peshtigo; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael and six sisters.
Friends and family called at the Luther Home Chapel from 1 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, with Pastor Darrel Diers officiating. Burial was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 5 in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee, Mi. Anderson Kell Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
