THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Donald Trix Brix, 62, of Wallace, MI passed away on Sunday, May 11 at home. He was born on Oct. 9, 1951 in Marinette to Vernon and Mabel (Tuma) Brix. A 1969 graduate of Stephenson High School, he worked as an auto mechanic, a job he truly loved, for Firestone and Herrild Oil. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, darts, horseshoes and a good game of poker. He further enjoyed snowmobiling and socializing with his friends at the Wallace Pub and Bear Point. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Survivors include his mother, Mabel Brix of Wallace, MI; two sisters, Holly Brix of Marinette and Kathy (Glen) Schmidt of Stephenson, MI; two brothers, Wayne (Barbara) of Cascade and Tom (Susan) of Wallace, MI.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon.
Family and friends may call at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 14 after 3 pm until time of Funeral Service at 6 pm. Father Michael Ocran will officiate and burial will be in Birch Creek Cemetery.
