Jill T. Wauters
Jill Therese Wauters, 48, of Valley Center, Ca., passed away unexpectedly May 8 at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, Ca.
Born Jan. 8, 1966 in Wausau, she grew up in Menominee, Mi. and Spring Green, Wi. and graduated from River Valley High School in 1984. She received a B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from the UW-Madison in 1989 and worked as a therapist, treating geriatric and brain injury patients. Since 2001, she worked as a therapist for the Valley Center/Parma Unified School District and lived in Valley Center where she raised her family. One of her greatest interests was horses and she took joy in owning, training and riding her horses in competitions alongside her family. A member of the Valley Center Vaqueros Drille Posse, an adult mounted drill team, she remained true to her Wisconsin roots and cheered on the Packers and Badgers faithfully.
Survivors include three children, Bradley, Trevor and Kelly Ryback, all of Valley Center; special friend, Suad Dalipagic, of Palm Springs, Ca.; former husband, Gary Ryback, of Valley Center; parents, Duane and Rita Wauters, of Lakeland, Fla.; a brother, Tim (Maggie) Wauters, of Arena, Wi.; many aunts; uncles; cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Marian Wauters; maternal grandparents, Clayton and Willeta Rogge; a cousin, Steven Cornell; four uncles, Gerald Wauters, Glen "Manny" Enstrom, James Harring and Paul Ihde and an aunt, Mary Wauters.
