Mary J. Tanguay
Mary J. Polly Tanguay , 65, of Menominee, passed away at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay on Saturday, May 24.
Born July 15, 1948 to June (OClaire) and Clement Lebich, she married Clifford Tanguay in December of 1984 and he preceded her in death in 2002. She earned a nurses aide certificate and did home nursing healthcare until her own health kept her from doing so.
She liked to knit for her family and friends, enjoyed collecting angels and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
She is survived by five step-children, Laurie Tanguay (Brian), Daryl Tanguay (Cindy), Dale Tanguay, Anita and Jim Fifarek and Richard Nerat; three grandsons; one granddaughter; four sisters, Debbie (Eugene) Voigt, Nancy Lebich (Mark), Rose (Gary) Cuyler and Kathy Lebich; a brother-in-law, Paul Porter; two brothers, Kim (Sue) Lebich and George (Carol) Lebich; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister, Dorothy.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 29 at Holy Redeemer Church in Birch Creek by Father Michael Ocran. Burial will be in the Birch Creek Cemetery. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
