Daniel C. Lock
Daniel Clyde Lock, age 59, of Naperville, IL passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, following a very brief but aggressive bout with cancer. He passed at his home, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Pound, WI, the son of Janet and the late Clyde Lock. Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Louise Lu, his children, Kelly (Monte Ballejos) Camden, Brian (Mariah) Lock and Andrea (Charles) Helaine, his stepchildren Joseph Morrical and David (Emily) Morrical, his grandchildren Avery Camden, Aristeo Ballejos, Matthieu Helaine, Ethan Helaine and Liam Morrical. Dan is also survived by his mother, his siblings, Timothy Lock, Michael (Wendy) Lock, James Lock and Sheryl (Lars Hansen) Lock, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Daniel was the owner and operator of Season-All Heating and Cooling and Miss Kitty 's Saloon. He enjoyed playing volleyball with friends, reading about history, traveling throughout the United States to visit historical sites, and was an avid Packers fan. Dan enjoyed spending time with family and friends and always went out of his way to help others whenever they needed something. His friends and family remember him for his willingness to lend a helping hand and his sense of humor. He delighted in his five grandsons who will always remember his gruff voice and playful spirit.
Memorials in memory of Daniel C. Lock, can be made to an organization of the donor 's choice. Visitation was held on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, IL. Interment followed at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville, IL
