Geraldine E. Benedum, 95, of Crivitz, passed away Friday, June 6 at Newcare Convalescent Center in Crivitz.
Born to Gerald and Elsie McNitt on May 19, 1919 in Ravena, Mi., she married Norman Benedum June 15, 1946 in Milwaukee, where she was employed as a registered nurse. The couple resided in Milwaukee until retirement, moving to Crivitz in 1973. She enjoyed gardening and her cats.
Surviving are four children, Sharon (Paul) Kasbohm, of Porterfield, Norm (Kris) Benedum, of Cambridge, Bev Benedum, of Morro Bay, Ca. and Robert (Marianne) Benedum, of Amery; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two sisters, Doris Krupp, of Muskegon and Ruth (Don) McCarthy, of Whitehall, Mi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman in 2005.
Friends may call at the Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz on Saturday, June 28 from noon until time of a Memorial Service at 1 p.m.
