Kent P. Danielson
Kent P. Danielson, 74, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Wednesday, June 4, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, following a brief illness.
Born March 11, 1940 in Menominee, Mi., to Walter and Martha (Harkenon) Danielson, he was a 1958 graduate of Menominee High School. On July 11, 1970, he married the former Sharon Britz in Menominee and worked as a truck driver for various companies, retiring from Stang Enterprise in 2002.
He enjoyed wintering in Florida for the past five years, Nascar racing and was a huge Packer fan and a season ticket holder for many years. He also enjoyed his camp, deer hunting and four wheeling, but above all, was very passionate about his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Elks Club, retired Teamster member and friend of the North Shore Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon, of Menominee; two daughters, Karen (Randal) Nelson, of Menominee, Mi. and Coleman, Tx. and Lori (Andy) Arentz, of Lakeville, Mn.; a son, James Danielson, of DePere; a son-in-law, Gary Elsner of DePere; seven grandchildren; a brother, Ron (Janet) Danielson, of Paris, Tn. and a sister, Janice (Tim) Nagle, of Bloomington, Mn.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Elsner.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 14 at Anderson Kell Funeral Home at noon until time of a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Rev. David Christenson will officiate, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee.
