Kelly J. Peters, 30, of Peshtigo, passed away on Monday, June 16, as a result of a moped accident in Oconto County.
Born Aug. 24, 1983, in Marinette, to Julie (Dionne) Peters and the late Michael Peters, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, Julie (Paul Christophersen) Peters, he is survived by his fiance, Brittany Peterson; a brother, Brian Peters; aunts and uncles, Patty (Mike) Hanson, Patrick Peters, Gary Peters, Wendy (Darren) Mojzych and Jody Dionne and many other family members and friends.
Along with his father Michael, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Steve Dionne.
Friends may call at Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home on Saturday, June 21 from 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Bill Retza will officiate with burial in Birch Creek Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in his name. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that any expressions of sympathy and kindness be directed to Julie Peters.
