Joan Chaput, 82, of Crooked Lake, passed away Saturday, June 14.
Born Feb. 15, 1932 in Milwaukee to Charles and Clara (Mueller) Bayer, she is survived by a sister, Marion Reik, of Milwaukee; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Shorty on Nov. 19, 1994.
Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Saturday, June 21 from 10 a.m. until time of a funeral service at noon. Sister Marla Clercx will officiate with burial next to her husband in Mountain Cemetery.
