Patti F. (Geil) Hermann, 61, longtime resident of Oconto County, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 23, in the presence of her loved ones. She was born Jan. 17, 1953, in Suamico to Leo and Rose Geil.
She and her husband, Jim, celebrated life of 25 years as one, and will be forever soul mates. She was the thread which kept family connected. Their home was the hub and a warm welcome to graduations, holidays and celebrations. Their love for each other was as strong as a mountain that flowed like a river.
Survivors include her husband, Jim; her children and their spouses, Phil Mc Fall, Kim (Aaron) Shryock, Josh (Jean) Hermann, and Stephen (Natalie) Hermann; eight grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Roy and Mary Geil, Ken Geil; a sister, Rosella Evenson; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Chuck Sampo; sister-in-law, Deb Geil; and her parents.
Friends called at Blaney Funeral Home, from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Friends also called at Life Church, De Pere, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Funeral Service were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Pastor Shawn Hennessy officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
