Dale H. McClellan
Dale Howard McClellan, 79, of South Bend, Ind., formerly of Amberg, passed away Tuesday, June 24 at home.
Born Sept. 15, 1934 in the White Rapids area in Marinette County, to Orva and Genevieve (Keim) McClellan, he attended Amberg High School and then served his country in the United States Army. After service he settled in South Bend, Ind. and was employed at Utilimaster Corporation, delivering vehicles throughout the country.
He enjoyed reading, going to auctions, riding motorcycles, water sports, four wheeling, and was a car racing fan, especially NASCAR.
He is survived by his companion for 35 years, Dixie Rose and her family, including daughter, Amy and a granddaughter; four brothers, Wayne, Ralph, Roy and Roger McClellan and two sisters, Murial Brassfield and Beverly DeGrand.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl McClellan and Dixies daughter, Deborah Ashcroft.
No formal services were held. Goethals and Wells Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Mishawaka assisted the family.
