Shirley J. Neuman
Shirley J Neuman, 88, passed away on Tuesday, April 29 at her residence in Wausaukee.
Born May 27, 1925 in Milwaukee, to Joseph and Clarabelle (Morse) Wilbrandt,
she married Richard Ernest Neuman on July 11, 1943 at Cross Evangelical Lutheran church in Milwaukee and he preceded her in death.
A lifetime member of the VFW Womens Auxillary #10402WI, she was treasurer for several years and held many functions to raise money for veterans in Marinette County and for donations to the local schools. She lived in Amberg for 28 years before moving to the Van Buren Apartments in Wausaukee where she resided for the past 13 years.
She is survived by two sons, Lawrence (Sonya) Neuman, of Green Bay and Ronald (Beverly) Neuman, of Slinger; a sister, Hazel Jennings, of Brown Deer; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 12 at the Amberg Cemetery.
