Annette M. Blumreich
Annette Marie Blumreich, of Gillett, passed away at Woodland Village of Oconto on July 4 at the age of 100 years, 8 months, and 20 days.
Born on a farm in Manawa area on Oct. 15, 1913, to August and Louise (Braun) Beyer, she married Ervin Blumreich on Aug. 11, 1934 and the couple moved to Gillett. He preceded her in death June 28, 1961.
She worked many years at Baldwin Plywood and also at the canning factory and cheese factory in Gillett. She enjoyed fishing with a large cane pole, making quilt pieces and singing.
She is survived by her only child, Janice Blumreich, of Oconto; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister and two brothers.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9 from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Gillett. Pastors Doreen and Harvey Jeffers officiated with burial in Wanderers Rest Cemetery in Gillett. The Gallagher Funeral Home of Oconto assisted the family with arrangements.
