John R. Maves
John R. Maves, 93, of Crivitz, passed away Monday, July 7 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette.
Born Aug. 25, 1920 in Green Bay, he married Kathleen Cassie Kielman Jan. 25, 1957 in Marinette. The couple resided in the Crivitz area where they farmed.
He enjoyed reading, gardening and welding projects and was a kind, generous man who never refused a favor to a friend.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Cassie; two daughters, Connie Maves and Sharon (Doc) Schramm, both of Crivitz; a son, Marshall (Dee Dee) Kostuch, of Porterfield, a son-in-law, Kent Johnson, of Saukville; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl and a daughter, Dixie Johnson.
Per his wishes, no services will be held. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz assisted the family with arrangements.
