Pauline M. Barribeau, 97, of Oconto, passed away peacefully Friday, July 4 at Woodlands of Oconto.
Born May 21, 1917 in Oconto, to Joseph and Victoria (Brisson) Barribeau, she worked as a waitress in the Milwaukee area.
She is survived by a son, Joey Merda, Milwaukee; two granddaughters; a great-granddaughter and friends, Sharon Schuettpelz and Barbara Barribeau, both of Oconto.
She was preceded in death by a son, Frankie and four brothers, Lyle, Royal, Raymond and Melvin.
Friends called at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8. Deacon Walt Kaszynski officiated with burial in Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
