THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Helen Huss, 79, Ashwaubenon, passed away Tuesday, July 8 at a Green Bay area hospital.
Born Aug. 18, 1934, at her home in Crivitz to Edmund and Ruth Seeburger, she married Duane Huss on June 25, 1955 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Crivitz.
She enjoyed shopping, but most important in her life was spending time outdoors and being with family.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Doug (Steve Pretz) Huss, Karen (Jeff) Jordan, Cheri Slusarek, Sandy (Robert) Selner, Dave (Jeanne) Huss, Dean (Laurie) Huss and Tina (Yves) Dumoulin; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Harvey (Sandy) Huss; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane; her parents; a brother, Bill (Carol) Seeburger; a sister, Betty (Bob) Kenyon; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clifford and Agnes Huss and a brother-in-law, Kenneth (Barb) Huss.
Friends called at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, Green Bay from 4 p.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 11. Rev. Robert Rank officiated with burial in Crivitz Memorial Cemetery. Blaney Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
