Betty K. Mikus
Betty K. Mikus, 81, of Marinette, passed away Sunday, July 13 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born Feb. 2, 1933, to Peter and Delia (Bebeau) Laveau, she graduated from Stephenson High School in 1952. She worked for Robinson Furniture in Wilson for 25 years, retiring in 1997 and moved to Marinette after retirement.
She is survived by four sons, Michael (Cheryl) and Irving (Stacy), both of Menominee, Steve (Connie), of Nadeau, and Chris (Theresa), of Daggett; five daughters, Cindy (Don) Paquin, of Waukesha, Nancy (Don Jr.) Machalk, of Stephenson, Mi., Susan (Mike Dionne) Hittman and Shirley (Michael) Gandt, both of Marinette and Debbie Gilchrist, of Alaska; two sisters, Isabel Maki, of Sulivan and Joyce (Dave) York, of Norwitch, Ct.; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine; eight brothers, Walter, Wallace, Alexander, Gerals, Ira, Sornes, Vernon, and Leroy and a sister, Antionette.
Private family services will be held with burial in Nadeau Township Cemetery. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
