Ruth A. (McKay) McIntosh, 84, of Beecher, passed away Tuesday, July 15 at her home.
Born March 7, 1930, in Milwaukee, to Robert and Virginia (Hepp) McKay, she grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from West Division High School in Milwaukee. She married Arthur McIntosh on Oct. 25, 1952, in Milwaukee and worked for the Milwaukee Insurance Company, retiring from there.
After retirement she and her husband relocated to Beecher. She enjoyed working logic puzzles, playing cards, cooking and baking.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Arthur; three daughters, Virginia Ginger Helgeson (Phil Haney) and Cheryl Dalin, both of Kenosha and Lynn McIntosh (Bob Rhynas), Howards Grove; two brothers, Marlin McKay, Oregon and Robert (Carol) McKay, Wisconsin; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Beverly Peierl and Dorothy Maxey.
Per her wishes, private visitation and services were held. Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
